What is Gathered Beans?
Gathered Beans is a monthly coffee club that delivers one carefully selected 12 oz bag of single-origin coffee from around the world for $18 per month.
Each month features 12/oz whole bean coffee from a different origin, selected for its flavor, balance, and sense of place. From Colombia and Guatemala to Ethiopia and Brazil, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru, and select regions across Africa and Asia, every coffee reflects where it was grown and why it matters.
Where are your beans roasted?
Our coffees are roasted in Rochester, NY. While roasting happens in the U.S., the character of each coffee starts at the source. We carefully select single-origin beans from respected growing regions around the world, then roast and grind them with care to preserve the flavor, balance, and sense of place that make each coffee distinct.
What to Expect from Gathered Beans?
Each month, you’ll receive one carefully chosen coffee from a specific farm and country. It’s roasted in the U.S. and shipped fresh, ready to brew. You should expect coffee that is thoughtful, well-balanced, and true to where it comes from. Some months will feel brighter and lighter. Others deeper and more familiar. That variation is intentional. It reflects differences in climate, harvest, and tradition, not inconsistency.
Gathered Beans isn’t about chasing extremes or trends. It’s about experiencing coffee as people around the world drink it every day. Honest. Well-made. Worth paying attention to. Not every coffee will be your personal favorite. But every coffee will be chosen with care, respect for its origin, and a clear reason for why it was selected.
Can I order more than 1 bag at a time?
Yes. You can adjust the number of bags in your subscription anytime. Click here to open your cart and update the quantity.
What is your return policy?
If you are unhappy with your coffee, we will refund you no questions asked. However, since each bag is custom roasted we are unable to accept returns on any packages that have been opened.
If I don't have a promo code, can I still get the discount?
Yes! You can still get 20% off your first purchase if you don't have a code, use our default code PRESS20 at checkout to apply the discount.
When will I get my order?
When you start your subscription we will ship your first introductory bag within 1-3 business days. After the intial shipment, your next coffee will be shipped out on the first tuesday of each month. Once your order ships you will receive a email notification with your tracking number.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping on your first order is free, after that each shipment will include a $5.99 for shipping. If you choose expedited shipping, each month shipping will be charged at the same rate selected at checkout. You can adjust your shipping options by contacting us here.
Can I cancel at anytime?
Yes! You can cancel your membership at anytime by logging into your account and initiating the cancel membership process or by contacting us.
Do you offer ground or pods?
We currently offer whole bean coffee only. Each coffee is roasted and shipped at the time of fulfillment to ensure freshness when it arrives at your door. We plan to introduce ground coffees in the near future. Due to environmental impact we do not plan to offer pods.
